My family is small. My mom lives in New Britain. She works at New Britain General Hospital. She has
lived in the US for 31 years. She is a widow, because her husband died. My sister is married. She has 2
daughters. My daughter Elizabet is married. She and her family live in Bristol. She works at the Post
Office. Her husband is a manager. They have a son, Jason. My grandson is 2 1/2 years old. He is a
smart boy. Every day he speaks more words. My husband Henryk is a good man. He works at Continental Machinery.
He does not get a good salary, but he likes his job. Every morning he and I go to work together. I have a very
good family. Unfortunately, my second daughter is in Poland. She is studying there. I am very happy because
she came here to see me on my vacation.

My best friend lives in Poland. Her name is Mojgozata.
We have been friends for many years, since we went to high school together. We spent a lot of time together learning,
studying, laughing, talking, etc. She is my best, best friend because she's honest. Everything I told her stayed
between us. She didn't tell anyone about this. She's funny, helpful, and a very good person. now, we don't
have a chance to see each other very often, but we talk on the phone or write letters to each other.
I would like by best friend to know about my new job, and my new shift. Before I worked
on second shift. I didn't like this because I couldn't see my kids or my husband. Now my life looks much different,
more interesting, and more exciting, I'd like to tell her more about my kids. Two months ago my daughter started
piano lessons and she loves it. My son started playing guitar and he is very interested in this instrument.

I came from Poland in 1977. I lived there for 23 years before
coming to the US. I left my friends in Poland, especially my best friend who is also named Stanley (in Polish - Stanislaw).
We did a lot of things together throughout all those years. I trusted him in all things. He would never make fun
of me. He would always stand up for me. I was the same towards him. Every few years I go back to visit my
family. I always go to see him, too. This makes him very happy. We talk about old times, especially
all the crazy things we did a long time ago. I wish Stan would be able to come to the US to spend some time here with
me. We would be able to go fishing or hunting together, maybe even do some crazy things in our old age. This will
be fun. It's a treasure to have a good friend.
