Learning to read, write, and speak English can be very difficult. Our teachers make it easy and fun
to learn. We all work as a team, and help each other. We enjoy our classes so much that we continue to come back
for more! In addition to learning to read, write, and speak English, we are also learning how to use the computer.
Sometimes we go to the computer lab and work on an English software program called Ellis. The software program allows
us to hear the words spoken and then to record our voices so that we can play it back, and listen to how we sound. It
also allows us to play games on the computer. There are many word games that we can play. We usually work with
a partner and have a great deal of fun. We laugh a lot. That's what makes learning English fun!
Our classes are offered 2 nights a week for 2 hours each class. We usually attend 14 classes a semester,
and if we want to come back to learn more, we can do that. We have been coming for 2 years now, so we have formed a
"family" of friends. And, to celebrate all the hard work that we have done, we attend a party with lots of food
and a cake. As you check out our website, you will see some of the work we've done. Hope you like it!
